My Story

The creative genius behind Mangori is Dr. Jennifer Taylor, a board certified Family Physician who is passionate about wound and skin care.  Dr. Taylor  trained at University Hospitals/Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and began her medical career in Central Illinois as a full-spectrum family doctor that delivered babies and performed C-sections. Her interest in healing skin wounds began when she cared for hospice patients that suffered multiple skin injuries from pressure.

This  experience led Dr. Taylor to pursue additional training in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy and to focus her work solely on the care of all sorts of non-healing wounds.  As you can imagine, this involved LOTS of hand washing! The hospital grade cleansers and powdered surgical gloves led to itchy, dry, and cracked skin.

Dr. Taylor became frustrated that she could not find any lotion or cream that actually moisturized her dry skin, healed her eczema, and smelled good. Thanks to the support of family, co-workers, and friends, she developed a winning combination of mango and shea butter; coconut, almond, and vitamin E oils; essential oils, and fragrance oils that provide long-lasting moisture without a greasy residue.
